Zodiac: A belt of the celestial sphere centered on the ecliptic. In Western tropical astrology, the zodiac is divided into twelve equal signs of 30° each: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
