Angles: The four cardinal points of a horoscope formed by the intersection of the ecliptic with the horizon and meridian: the Ascendant, Descendant, Imum Coeli (IC), and Medium Coeli (MC), also known as the Midheaven. These points form the primary axes of the birth chart and are traditionally considered especially significant.
